STAYCATION AT @NAKEDCUBBYCO.

When I heard there will be a gorgeous glamping tent, nestled amongst the vineyards at Mt Majura winery - I was filled with excitement (and some wine), to say the least! The Naked Cubby is a stunning cubby with gorgeous furnishings and a beautiful minimalistic, yet rustic feel. The owners, Erin and Daniel have done a gorgeous job with emerging their own creative flare into the cubby - And drawing on inspiration from gorgeous Australian designers and brands like @curious_tales, @inbedstore & @sealyaustralia to name a few.

On arrival, our keys were hidden behind the cellar door, as Rachel and I walked up through the vineyards to our gorgeous cubby! Opening the cubby... slowly... with anticipation, the cubby on first impressions exceeded all that we had been waiting for. The interior of The Naked Cubby is beautiful to say the least, from the soft linen sheets on the bed to the cute finishing's of the gum boots by the entrance for running through the vineyards (Naked according to the staff at Mt Majura)  later. This tent really does give you the 'Staycation' feel, just 15 minutes from Canberra's CBD.

After we got settled in and tried to calm our excitement, we left the cubby for a date with the staff at the Mt Majura Cellar Door. The lovely staff took us for a tour through the fermenting process of their several red wines, followed by a tasting of what seemed like every wine in their collection - But don't worry, we weren't complaining!

As the sun came down - So did the temperature. As we went from having a cheese and cold meat platter on the deck all rugged up in the gorgeous blankets provided - To moving inside, and having a challenging and suspenseful match of Scrabble. As we woke to the sounds of birds chirping in the forest behind, we served up the delicious breakfast from @threemillsbakery - Including pastries fresh from the oven down the road. As you can imagine, we were very sad to leave this stunning location, and on our way walking back down through the vineyards we had time to reflect on the stunning stay and think of ways or excuses we can leave our everyday lives and escape back to The Naked Cubby! Overall, the staycation was out of this world. We did have to pee a couple times behind the cubby on the grass near the forest as the toilets were a long way down and I was accompanied by a gorgeous pregnant lady... However, this called for many moments of entertainment!
